This limited edition of Montblanc is dedicated to John F. Kennedy. From 1961, this young American president brought a breath of fresh air to the White House, impressing worldwide with his charismatic appearance. The number of pieces released of this ballpoint pen, 1917, refers to Kennedy's year of birth. The rope structure on the barrel refers to sailing, one of his favorite pastimes. The Montblanc emblem on the reverse is made of lunar quartz, in reference to the fact that the first moon landing was predicted by Kennedy, during his tenure. The initials JFK are engraved on the cap.
